A PACE delegation composed of six members and headed by Meritxell Mateu Pi (Andorra, ALDE), will carry out a pre-election mission to Tbilisi to assess the electoral campaign and context prior to the presidential election on 27 October. The delegation is due to meet the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of Parliament and election candidates.

The delegation will give a press conference on Wednesday 25 September at the Council of Europe Office in Tbilisi (26 Zmebi Kakabadzeebi).
