The committee will organise a hearing on “The situation of women in emerging democracies following the Arab revolutions”, in the framework of the preparation of a report by Fatiha Saïdi (Belgium, SOC) and a hearing on “Discrimination against transgender people in Europe” in the framework of the preparation of a report by Deborah Schembri (Malta, SOC).
