On 30 October, the committee will organise two hearings on “Access to justice and the Internet: potential and challenges” and on “How to prevent inappropriate restrictions on NGO activities in Europe”. It is also due to adopt reports on “Drones and targeted killings: the need to uphold human rights” and on “Witness protection as an indispensable tool in the fight against organised crime and terrorism in Europe”. The meeting will be opened by the Spanish Minister of Home Affairs. On 31 October, the members of the Committee will participate in a seminar on “The role of national parliaments in the implementation of judgements of the European Court of Human Rights”, organised by the PACE Parliamentary Project Support Division. This seminar will include the participation of PACE President Anne Brasseur.
