An ad hoc Sub-Committee of the Political Affairs Committee, chaired by Mogens Jensen, and composed of five other members, will examine the recent developments in Turkey during a visit to Ankara. Meetings are scheduled, in particular, with the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, the Minister of Justice, representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior Affairs, and various parliamentary groups. The members of the ad hoc Sub-Committee will also have meetings with the President of the Constitutional Court, the Chair of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on the 15 July Coup attempt, journalists, as well as with representatives of civil society and the diplomatic community.
