The Standing Committee will meet in Madrid on 10 March, in the context of the celebration of the 40^th anniversary of Spain's accession to the Council of Europe. Exchanges of views with the Chair of the ECRI, and with representatives of the Russian Parliament on modalities of co-operation between PACE and the Russian Parliament in 2017 (to be confirmed), will feature on the agenda. The members of the Standing Committee will also discuss the access of detainees to lawyers, and the political rights of persons with disabilities. The Assembly members will have an audience with King Felipe VI. On 11 March, a ceremony in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack of 11 March 2004 will be organised, with the participation of President Agramunt and the Standing Committee members.
