President Pedro Agramunt will be meeting in New-York António Guterres, the United Nations Secretary General designate, who will be taking up his duties on 1 January 2017. Mr Agramunt will be visiting the UN in the context of the meetings of the PACE Sub-Committee on External Relations with high-level UN officials, in particular the UN Deputy Secretary General. He also plans to have meetings with the President of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, representatives of the Alliance of Civilisations and the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees and the ambassadors of the PACE member countries.
