This seminar's objective is to support the members of national parliaments in improving their knowledge of the European Convention on Human Rights and to implement effectively the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. A further objective is to consider the effectiveness of existing parliamentary structures and mechanisms for the verification of Convention standards.
