Strasbourg, 26.08.2008 – The Presidential Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament is to meet in Brussels on 28 August to discuss current political issues – in particular the situation in the Caucasus and in Belarus – as well as migration and integration.
The meeting – taking place in the framework of a co-operation agreement signed in November 2007 – will bring together the Presidents and political group leaders of the two European parliamentary bodies.
