Tabling of text with Pace-apps

1. WHICH TEXTS ARE CONCERNED?

Texts concerned are those requiring signature by one or more members, or a committee:

  • Amendments
  • Motions (for resolutions or recommendations)
  • Motion for dismissal
  • Written declarations
  • Written questions

Reminder of the rules for tabling texts (see Rules of Procedure)

2. WHO CAN table AND/OR SIGN A TEXT?

Users of pace-apps authenticated in "high security" mode can table a text if they are so authorised under the Rules of Procedure. This means that it can only be a Member or committee.

The electronic signature is implemented using 2-factor authentication (2FA) - necessary for a "high security" connection.

3. What is the procedure?

3.1. As an author, members or commissions can :

  • initiate the submission process by choosing and completing the appropriate form for the draft text;
  • launch a call for signatures if necessary;
  • officially table the text with the Table Office after the necessary signatures have been collected.

Texts can be submitted in English, French or both languages.

The author may withdraw the draft at any time (even if already signed), as long as it has not been officially submitted to the Table Office.

Please note: a draft text signed by another Member cannot be modified by the author.

3.2. As a signatory, members or committees may :

  • sign an existing draft.

Please note: a signature cannot be withdrawn.

4. Access to the tabling of texts application
