Strasbourg, 27-31 January 2014
An urgent debate on "The functioning of democratic institutions in Ukraine"* as well as a debate on "Refusing impunity for the killers of Sergei Magnitsky" are among highlights of PACE's Winter Session, taking place in Strasbourg from 27 to 31 January 2014.
Werner Faymann, Federal Chancellor of Austria, and Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament, will address the Assembly. The parliamentarians will also elect PACE's President.
The parliamentarians will hold three joint debates on preventing racism, climate change and hosting migrants in Europe. Also, the Assembly will evaluate the partnership for democracy with the Palestinian National Council.
