As part of the follow-up to Resolution 2529 (2024) on "the situation of children in Ukraine", which was adopted during an emergency debate in January 2024, the Bureau of the Assembly asked the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development to set up a network on the situation of children in Ukraine.
The network's mission will be to enable the Parliamentary Assembly to continue its role as facilitator in supporting the Ukrainian authorities and various international organizations to determine the quickest means of identifying and facilitating the search for deported children. It will also serve as an exchange platform to promote the protection of the rights of displaced and refugee children.
