The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is inviting designers and graphic artists to submit designs for a plaque and logo for its recently launched “Human Rights in Motion” Award, a quarterly prize for the director of a documentary film that best promotes human rights or advances the fight for democratic values.
The plaque design, incorporating the logo, should reflect the aim of the award, its European scope, and the values which underpin it – the defence of human rights and the fight for democratic values.
Individual plaques will be presented to the winning filmmaker – along with a cheque for 5,000 euros – during the closing ceremonies of four different documentary film festivals, taking place in different parts of Europe each quarter.
Designers are invited to submit sketches for the design, in line with the technical specifications set out here, by midnight on 13 January 2025.
