Strasbourg, 06.06.2013 – Jean-Claude Mignon, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make an official visit to “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” from 10 to 12 June 2013, during which he is due to meet the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs and the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
Robert Walter (United Kingdom, EDG), the Assembly’s rapporteur on post-monitoring dialogue with the country, will join the President for this visit.
Mr Mignon will address the National Assembly on Tuesday 11 June.
Talks are also planned with the coordinators of the National Assembly political groups and with “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” delegation to PACE.
