1. In accordance with Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee responsible for the examination of credentials examined those of t he new Representatives and Substitutes appointed to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.
2. Belgium, the Federal Republic of Germany, Norway and the United Kingdom have transmitted new credentials certified by their Ministers for Foreign Affairs.
3. (?) Belgium has appointed M. D E KINDER as Representative in place of M. ROLIN, who has resigned; it has appointed M. PIERSON as Substitute in place of M. D E KINDER who has become a Representative and M. DREZE as Substitute in place of M. TAHON who has resigned.
(b) The Federal Republic of Germany has appointed M. KLIESING as Substitute, in place of M. MEYERS who has resigned.
(c) Norway has appointed M. JOHANSON as Substitute, in place of Mme LIONAES who has resigned.
(d) The United Kingdom has appointed Mr. CHICHESTER-CLARK as Substitute, in place of Mr. ARMSTRONG who has resigned.
4. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposed that the Assembly confirm the validity of t he appointment of the Representatives and Substitutes mentioned above.
