The Assembly,
Considering that the special juridical problems of national minorities in Member States forming a part of international law require that European universities pay an increased attention to studies of such problems;
Noting that very few, if any, universities in Member States include a professorship for such specialist studies,
Recommends that the Committee of Ministers take appropriate steps to the effect that a chair for studies of the law of national minorities be established, under the auspices of the Council of Europe, at one of the European universities where there are likely to be students of various nationalities.
