The Assembly, having taken note of the Special Message of the Committee of Ministers, Doc.238, transmitting to the Assembly the programme of work of the Council of Europe, and, more particularly, of paragraph 28 on the Economic Development of Southern Europe, instructs the Committee on Economic Questions to prepare a study of ways and means of promoting the economic development of Southern Europe, making use for this purpose of the facilities available under the terms of the agreements between the Council of Europe and O. E. E. C. and of the studies undertaken by the E. C. E.
This study should be devoted specifically toItaly, Greece and Turkey.
