The Assembly,

1. Recalling its Order No. 346 (1974) ;
2. Having regard to the report of its Political Affairs Committee (Doc. 3631) ;
3. Hoping that a successful conclusion of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe will mark the beginning of a period of constructive East-West co-operation ;
4. Recalling its constant readiness to contribute actively to this co-operation,
5. Invites all competent committees concerned with the various items of the CSCE agenda to undertake a careful analysis of the final conference document and to report back to the Assembly ;
6. Instructs the Political Affairs Committee to investigate the possibility of organising, together with interested member governments, meetings on an equal footing with politicians from all European countries interested in exchanges of ideas and views on selected subjects of European co-operation covered by the final document of the CSCE.
