M. RUSSELL
to ask the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers
if he will be good enough to give some information as to how the standard of purity of water supplies compares in the member countries of the Council of Europe (a) in cities and towns (b) in rural areas; whether any statistics are available about the incidence of disease caused by impure supplies, especially in connection with visitors and tourists; and what steps are being taken to hasten the day when all water supplies, at least in cities and towns, will be of the highest possible standard of purity.
