In the draft resolution, paragraph 2, third sentence, after the words "fishing vessels", insert the following words:

", a small patrolling aircraft,"

Explanatory note

In accordance with paragraph 22 of the report, the first unit to overfly the boat was a small patrolling aircraft. This small aircraft was identified as a French aircraft by the Rome MRCC, as reflected in paragraphs 85 to 91 of the report.
