In the draft resolution, paragraph 14, delete the words "and reject the use of terrorism and combat it effectively."

Explanatory note

It would be a double standard to see Hamas, on the one hand, as one of the legitimate parties for a solution of the conflict and, on the other hand, to accept it as using terrorism as a means.
