1 Decisions of the
Bureau of 30 January 2015 requiring ratification by the Assembly
1.1 References and transmissions to committees
The Bureau considered and approved the following references
to committees:
- Doc. 13653, motion for a resolution, The relations of the Council
of Europe with Kazakhstan, reference to the Committee on Political
Affairs and Democracy for report;
- Doc. 13682, motion for a resolution, Missing persons during the
conflict in Ukraine, reference to the Committee on Migration, Refugees
and Displaced Persons for report;
- Doc. 13700, motion for a resolution, Legal remedies to human rights
violations on the Ukrainian territories outside the control of the
Ukrainian authorities, reference to the Committee on Legal Affairs and
Human Rights for report;
- Doc. 13560, motion for a resolution, Parliamentary scrutiny over
corruption: parliamentary co-operation with investigative media,
after consultation, reference to the Committee on Culture, Science,
Education and Media for report;
- Bureau decision, Reconsideration of sanctions in respect
of the delegation of the Russian Federation to the Parliamentary
Assembly (follow-up to paragraph 15 of Resolution 2034 (2015)), to the Committee on the Honouring of Obligations and
Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe (Monitoring
Committee) for report (to
be debated during the April 2015 part-session).
1.2 Composition of the Monitoring Committee
On the basis of proposals by the political groups, the Bureau
appointed Mr Zsolt Németh (Hungary, EPP/CD) replacing Mr Gergely
Gulyás (Hungary, EPP/CD), Ms Sirkka-Liisa Anttila (Finland, ALDE)
replacing Baroness Emma Nicholson (United Kingdom, ALDE), Ms Marieluise
Beck (Germany, ALDE) et Mr Matjaž Hanžek (Slovenia, UEL) replacing
Mr Ivan Melnikov (Russian Federation).
1.3 Composition of the Committee on the election of
judges to the European Court of Human Rights
On the basis of proposals by the political groups, the Bureau
appointed Mr José María Beneyto (Spain, EPP/CD), Ms Yuliya L'Ovochkina
(Ukraine, EC) and Mr Tiny Kox (Netherlands, UEL).
