1.1 Election observation
1.1.1 Turkey: parliamentary elections (7 June 2015)
The Bureau approved the final composition of the ad hoc committee
(Appendix 1).

1.3 Ad hoc committee of the Bureau on large scale
arrival of refugees to Turkey
The Bureau decided to set up an ad hoc committee of the Bureau
on large scale arrival of refugees to Turkey and approved its composition
and terms of reference (Appendix 2).
1.4 Composition of committees
1.4.1 Composition of the Monitoring Committee
On the basis of a proposal by the Socialist Group, the Bureau
appointed Mr Arcadio Díaz Tejera (Spain) in replacement of Mr Indrek
Saar (Estonia).
On the basis of a proposal by the EPP/CD Group, the Bureau
appointed Mr Telmo Correia (Portugal) on a vacant seat.
1.4.2 Composition of the Committee on the election of
judges to the European Court of Human Rights
On the basis of a proposal by the EPP/CD Group, the Bureau
appointed Mr Vladyslav Golub (Ukraine) as alternate.

Appendix 2 – Ad hoc committee of the Bureau on large scale
arrival of refugees to Turkey
1. At its meeting on 24 April 2015, the Bureau
of the Assembly decided under Article 44.4 c of the Rules of Procedure
to set up an ad hoc committee of the Bureau on large scale arrival
of refugees to Turkey, with the following composition, terms of
reference and timetable.
2. Composition
The ad hoc committee will be composed of the members of the
Presidential Committee, Chairpersons of national delegations or
their representatives, and the Chairperson of the Committee on Migration,
Refugees and Displaced Persons.
3. Terms of reference
raise
awareness of the challenges facing Turkey and refugees hosted in
the country;
raise awareness of the needs and conditions in reception
centres of refugees on the border with Syria;
raise awareness of the challenges of local integration
of refugees.
4. Timetable
The ad hoc committee should present its report to the Bureau
in the course of 2015.
