In the draft resolution, at the end of paragraph 11.5, replace the words "to address the excessive variations in size of the single mandate election districts" with the following words:

"to consider a proportional-regional election system, based on open lists, which seems to have the agreement of most, if not all, political forces in the country".

Explanatory note

The amendment seeks to align the wording of the paragraph with paragrah 4.2 of Resolution 2015(2014) on Functioning of democratic institutions in Georgia.
