In the draft resolution, replace paragraph 10.5 with the following paragraph:

"In Georgia, the continued polarisation of the political environment, the sporadic cases of intolerant discourse against minorities and the alleged deficiencies in court proceedings that negatively affect the respect for a fair trial in certain cases;"

Explanatory note

The rapporteur refers to the OSCE/ODIHR report published on 9 December 2014. But the present report covers the period well after the OSCE/ODIHR publication and so omits a lot of recent positive developments that have successfully addressed many of the problems mentioned in the paragraph.
