Question from
Mr Nikolaj VILLUMSEN, Denmark, UEL

With reference to the priority the Secretary General has given to Roma inclusion,

Mr Villumsen,

To ask the Committee of Ministers,

To comprehensibly inform the Parliamentary Assembly about ongoing relevant intergovernmental work and initiatives, including – with reference to the report by the Secretary General on "State of Democracy, Human Rights and the Rule of Law in Europe" – about how the proposed action and recommendation concerning Roma inclusion contained in the report are to be implemented, and to what extent the Committee of Ministers sees a role for the Parliamentary Assembly and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe in the implementation of the said action: "Implement the Council of Europe agenda on Roma inclusion (2015-2019), with its three priority lines of action: tackling anti-Roma discrimination, introducing innovative models for inclusive policies for the most vulnerable and introducing best practices for local-level solutions for the social inclusion of Roma."
