In the draft resolution, after paragraph 5.2, insert the following paragraph:

"further elaborate the implications of such education, in order to raise awareness among victims and their families of the fact that, contrary to their beliefs, female genital mutilation is not an issue of honour but an act of violence against women and girls, and an act against the human right to health;"
