This written declaration does not reflect the position of the Assembly; only of those members that have signed it. It will not be considered further by the Assembly.
Within Council of Europe member States, this is to draw attention
to the opportunity for better economic performance by raising standards
of the psychological wellbeing of employees and of good leadership
in management.
Such raised standards in business and industry would enhance
productivity and output within national economies as they also would
the quality of public services, including those of education, health
and the police force.
To assist democracy and the quality of life, we encourage
the Committee of Ministers to assess these potential benefits and
to publish guidelines for deployment.
