In the draft resolution, replace paragraph 8 with the following paragraph:

"The Assembly expresses its deep concern regarding the construction of any new nuclear power plant in an earthquake-prone region in Europe."

Explanatory note

Singling out Akkuyu nuclear power plant in the draft resolution among 15 other reactors under construction when the case of Akkuyu has not even been considered in the explanatory part of the report is unacceptable and damages the coherence of the report.
