In the draft resolution, paragraph 6.7, replace the word "release" with the following words:

"consider releasing"

Explanatory note

The persons in question have been condemned to different terms by the courts of Azerbaijan on the basis of the relevant domestic legislation. Their possible release obviously requires additional legal proceedings. The PACE should demonstrate necessary respect for the courts of a member State while formulating its request.
