Examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes

1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives and substitutes for the fourth part of the 2022 Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of member States.
2. The Assembly is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given in this report.
3. Belgium has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Ms Marie-Christine Marghem.
4. Estonia has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Raivo Tamm. One substitute has become representative and one representative has become substitute.
5. France has appointed eight new representatives and twelve new substitutes following parliamentary elections. Two substitutes have become representatives.
6. Germany has appointed a new representative and a new substitute following the resignations of Ms Sabine Weiss and Mr Marco Wanderwitz.
7. Hungary has appointed two new representatives and three new substitutes following parliamentary elections. Two substitutes have become representatives and three representatives have become substitutes.
8. The Netherlands has appointed a new representative following the resignation of Ms Roelien Kamminga.
9. Serbia has appointed four new representatives and seven new substitutes following parliamentary elections.
10. Slovenia has appointed three new representatives and two new substitutes following parliamentary elections. One representative has become substitute.
11. Ukraine has appointed two new substitutes following the resignations of Mr Dmytro Lubinets and Mr Rustem Umerov and one substitute has become representative.
12. In the case of reasoned objection or contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
