Examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes

1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives and substitutes for the fourth part of the 2023 Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of member States.
2. The Assembly is called upon to express its decision on the validation of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given in this report.
3. Austria has appointed a new substitute to fill a vacant seat.
4. Bulgaria has appointed two new representatives and four new substitutes following parliamentary elections.
5. Finland has appointed three new representatives and five new substitutes following parliamentary elections.
6. France has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Ms Brigitte Klinkert. One substitute has become representative and one representative has become substitute.
7. Greece has appointed two new representatives and five new substitutes following parliamentary elections. One substitute has become representative.
8. Hungary has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Norbert Erdős.
9. Latvia has appointed two new substitutes following the resignations of Ms Ieva Brante and Mr Normunds Dzintars. Two substitutes have become representatives.
10. The Netherlands has appointed five new representatives and four new substitutes following parliamentary elections.
11. Slovenia has appointed a new representative following the resignation of Ms Tatjana Greif.
12. Türkiye has appointed thirteen new representatives and thirteen new substitutes following parliamentary elections. Two substitutes have become representatives and one representative has become substitute.
13. In the case of reasoned objection or contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
