In the draft resolution, paragraph 6.2, replace the sixth sentence with the following sentence:

"Although at the beginning of the preparation of the draft resolution no high-ranking officials had been held to account for the use of torture in these cases, the Assembly takes note of the recent developments indicating the sentencing to long-term imprisonment of a number of officials including Chief of Staff of the Army Corps, Major-General Bekir Orujov."
