1. Meeting in accordance with the provisions of Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee appointed for the verification of credentials examined the credentials of the Representatives and Substitutes to the Fourth Ordinary Session Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.
2. The credentials certified and transmitted by the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, called for no comment in respect of the following Member States : Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Saar, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom.
3. In the case of the German Federal Republic, the Federal Government transmitted on 23rd May, 1952, credentials to the Secretary- General on behalf of M. von Rechenberg, cancelling and replacing those of M. Schâfer, Representative, who has been called to assume other functions. France has not provided a Representative for this Session to replace the late M. Bolifraud, whose seat will be occupied by a Substitute. For this reason the number of Representatives is reduced to 131 as against the 132 seats in the Assembly.
4. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposes that the Assembly confirms the validity of the appointment of the following Representatives and Substitutes :
