In the draft resolution, at the end of paragraph 7, insert the following sentence:

"These acts cannot be justified under the pretext of self-defense and appear to constitute grave violations of international humanitarian law."

Explanatory note

These acts constitute grave violations of international humanitarian law and cannot be justified by self-defense. It is therefore vital to accurately characterise and address these actions, particulary in terms of their violation of international law.
