In the draft resolution, after paragraph 12.3.2, insert the following paragraph:
"promote interreligious dialogue, with a view to fostering mutual understanding and preventing discrimination, and endeavour to include representatives of the widest possible range of religions or beliefs".
Explanatory note
In line with previous indications coming from the Council of Europe, including the Parliamentary Assembly, the religious dimension of intercultural dialogue is an effective tool to promote mutual understanding and social cohesion.
