In the draft resolution, after paragraph 15.5, insert the following paragraphs:

"expresses grave concern that the Iranian authorities appear to be accelerating executions and death sentences against protesters, dissidents and political prisoners, often on vaguely defined national security charges and following grossly unfair proceedings;

calls for an immediate halt to all planned executions and for urgent international monitoring of death penalty cases linked to protests, dissent or political activity;”
