It emphasises that Council of Europe membership entails certain non-negotiable obligations and condemns measures that undermine democracy, including education reforms affecting academic freedom and transnational repression against journalists. The Assembly urges thorough investigations into police brutality during demonstrations and highlights the need for Georgia to comply with European Court of Human Rights judgments and OSCE recommendations. It reiterates its commitment to dialogue aimed at restoring democratic principles in Georgia.
