The Assembly,
Considering the need to prepare for the implementation of the Treaty instituting the European Economic Community;
Believing that the present system for the production of and trade in wine and its by-products may well raise problems when this Treaty comes into force,
Recommends that the Committee of Ministers should consider the possibility of introducing changes in the present system for the production and marketing of wine and its by-products in Europe so as to provide the most satisfactory conditions for integrating the European wine markets into the European Economic Community.
