The Assembly,
Considering that it is necessary to examine every possibility of reducing the production and transport costs of agricultural produce,
Instructs the competent committees to work out appropriate arrangements for the setting up of. a European Farmers' and Consumers' Fund for the purpose of ensuring that;
1 the European Coal and Steel Community employs part of its coal surplus to reduce transport costs;
2 the European Economic Community grants a subsidy to bring down the price of chemical fertilizers, insecticides and agricultural machinery.
