The Assembly,
1. Having regard to its Recommendation 1046 (1986) on the use of human embryos and foetuses for diagnostic, therapeutic, scientific, industrial and commercial purposes,
2. Instructs its Legal Affairs Committee, as well as its Social and Health Affairs Committee and its Committee on Science and Technology :
a to continue to follow attentively the development of human embryology and biology, and the follow-up to its Recommendation 1046 (1986) ;
b to report back to the Assembly at an appropriate time.
