The Assembly,

Alarmed by reports of mass deportations from Hungary ;

Deeply shocked by the refusal of the Soviet and Hungarian authorities to admit observers to report thereon,

Recommends to Member Governments that the diplomatic representatives of Member States now in Budapest should forthwith jointly prepare a report on such deportations for immediate transmission to the Committee of Ministers and the Consultative Assembly.
