The Assembly resolves that, a special Committee shall be set up, in accordance with Article 37, paragraphe 2, to study points of affinity and divergence in the cultural spheres of the different peoples of Europe, with the object of discovering and suggesting to the Assembly at a later Session some practical means for the establishment of closer cultural co-operation between the peoples.
The Committee shall examine in particular in the course of its work the possibilities of defining a European conception of teaching of history.
This Committee shall be composed, on the proposal of the Chairman of the Committee on Cultural Questions, of not more than seven competent members of the Assembly, appointed by the Bureau without any stipulations as to nationality.
