13/10/2022 | 17:03:19 Thank you, Mister President. I didn't expect to get in, so I'm delighted to get the chance to speak. As the daughter of an English Protestant mother, and a northern Irish Catholic father, I am only too aware of the fragility of the situation in Northern Ireland and I am old enough to have lived through a good chunk of The Troubles. We must all do all we can to end this... 15/03/2022 | 18:02:59 Thank you, Mr President. And it is with great sadness that I rise to speak at such a dark time for our continent and a time of unimaginable horror for our friends, the people of Ukraine. To hear the testimony from our colleagues from Ukraine has been harrowing and very difficult to hear, and it can surely leave none of us in any doubt that Russia can no longer remain a member of the Council of Europe. The consequences of Putin's invasion will be felt across the continent and also in Russia...
