10/05/2013 Equality and Non-Discrimination
Strasbourg, 10.05.2013 - Håkon Haugli (Norway, SOC), rapporteur of the Equality and Non-Discrimination Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make a fact-finding visit to Kyiv on 15-16 May 2013 in the framework of the preparation of his report on "Tackling discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity".
During his visit, the rapporteur is due to meet, in particular, members of Parliament, a representative of the Ministry of Justice and the Ombudsperson, as well as representatives of civil society. Mr Haugli made a visit to Budapest in February 2013 concerning the same subject.
