Lord Prescott (United Kingdom, SOC), former Chairperson of the PACE Sub-Committee on Environment and Energy and former rapporteur on climate change, will take part in a parliamentary meeting organised on 5-6 December by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the French Parliament in Paris, on the occasion of the UN Conference on Climate Change (30 November-11 December).
At this parliamentary meeting, Mr Prescott will contribute to several debates, a draft statement and a draft parliamentary action plan. On 8 December, he will speak as one of the panelists at the parliamentary side-event “Credibility of national actions and INDCs: worldwide legislative and policy developments”.
