In co-operation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the UK Parliament will hold a seminar in London on 6-7 November 2017 on “Children's mental health and child-friendly justice”.
This seminar will bring together, in particular, the Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow, UK Under Secretary of State for Health Jackie Doyle-Price, PACE President Stella Kyriakides, PACE members, representatives of NGOs specialising in child protection and children's rights, academics, educators, police representatives, and young people.
It will examine the accessibility to, and the effectiveness of services in the areas of child mental health and child-friendly justice in a selection of European countries and explore ways to improve policies implemented.
