PACE reviews the work of its subsidiary bodies since the last session

The activities of the Standing Committee in Dublin; the list of candidates for the post of judge at the European Court of Human Rights submitted by Iceland; the lists of candidates to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) in respect of several countries; the Assembly procedures and working methods during meetings in physical presence of members; the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize; and the World Forum for Democracy (Strasbourg, 7-9 November 2022), were among the items in the progress report of the PACE’s Bureau and Standing Committee, presented today by Aleksander Pociej (Poland, EPP/CD) in plenary session.

This report reviews the work and decisions of the Assembly's subsidiary bodies since the last session.

The Assembly also discussed in more detail the observation of the presidential and early parliamentary elections in Serbia (3 April 2022), on the basis of a report prepared by Aleksander Pociej (Poland, EPP/CD).
