73.1. The Secretariat of the Parliamentary
Assembly shall be run by the Secretary General of the Assembly who
is elected by it and
shall be assisted by the administrative staff required for its work.
73.2. The
Secretary General of the Assembly shall perform his duties under
the authority of the Assembly and shall be responsible and accountable
to its Bureau.
