Union
The Memorandum of Understanding was
signed by the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers and the Secretary
General of the Council of Europe on 11 May 2007 and by the Presidency of
the Council of the European Union and the EU Commission on 23 May
2007. The Parliamentary Assembly has been consulted on the Memorandum
of Understanding (Opinion No. 262 (2007) to the Committee of Ministers).
