The Consultative Assembly endorses the suggestion contained in the last paragraph of the Message of the Committee of Ministers of 5th August, 1950, « that the Assembly should express its devotion to the cause of peace by affirming its complete solidarity with the action of the Security Council of the United Nations for the defence of the peace-loving peoples against aggression »; and requests its General Affairs Committee to consider this matter and to submit within a fortnight proposals designed to make the above-mentioned solidarity effective.
